"In 1991, I had right rotator cuff surgery. In 1995, I had right shoulder arthroscopy; and 1997, I had another right shoulder arthroscopy. Over the years, the pain in my right shoulder and my right arm had become increasingly severe, excruciating and unbearable. I couldn't lift my right arm without the help of my left arm lifting and holding it up. I had been taking morphine and ultracet and using lidoderm-lidocaine patches for the severe pain since the latter part of 2006.

On April 26, 2006, I had an appointment with a surgeon. He recommended a conventional right shoulder replacement. The surgery was scheduled for May 23, 2006.

I first learned about Cold Laser Therapy from a newsletter published by Louisville Health Solutions. On April 27, 2006 I attended Dr. Travis Culver's Open House and learned more about Cold Laser Therapy. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain if these treatments would help alleviate the severe pain. I started the treatments on May 2, 2006. After 3 treatments, I could lift my right arm without experiencing severe pain. On May 8, 2006, after 5 treatments, I canceled my shoulder replacement surgery.

Thanks to Dr. Culver and Cold Laser Therapy, I no longer have the severe, excruciating and unbearable pain that I endured for many, many years. What a relief! The soreness that I am now experiencing is bearable and I no longer take the morphine or use the lidoderm-lidocaine patches."

"I have been having headaches for about a year and a half. Not just once in a while, but all the time. It started out a couple of days a week and a few months went by and the headaches got worse.

I talked with my Medical Doctor and was diagnosed with high blood pressure, I was shocked.

Well my headaches continued to get worse and I was beginning to think there was no hope, you see these headaches were non-stop everyday all day with no relief at all and so severe I would double my fists, grit my teeth and pray for relief, and still every night I would cry myself to sleep.

But my life as it was had to go on! At this point I was giving up and I didn't want my life to go this way. These headaches controlled my life completely. Still the only thing I got out of this was not relief but more problems because of the medicine I was now on, now I had headaches as bad as before still non-stop (7 days a week 24 hours a day) sick to my stomach and the taste of metal in my mouth.

I was worse off by far and getting desperate.

I had no choice but to continue working, and that was a good thing because everyone at work seen what I was dealing with on a daily basis, and word of mouth travels fast.

So one day a year and a half into my misery, a couple of girls at work expressed to a mutual friend who had come into the office that day, the pain I was in.

That was the most wonderful day of my life!

I came up to the fornt of the office and I heard Tracy talking about the very same symptoms as I had described myself. I heard those words I had longed to hear.

Tracy said "I can't remember the last time I had a headache."

I was standing there looking at an "Angel." She was a Godsend to me.

Tracy said why take medicine that makes you sicker and doesn't help?

She recommended that I go to a chiropractor. I was skeptical, but also still in severe pain and needed a miracle. I took her advice and made an appointment with Louisville Health Solutions the same day.

Dr. Culver diagnosed my problem and put me on a program, and no more medicine was involved. After a couple of visits, I started feeling relief. I drove home with tears of joy running down my face, thanking God for Tracy and most of all, Dr. Culver for giving me my life back.

"Since coming to this office I am feeling tremendously better. I am an avid runner. For the past five years of my training whenever my training miles got to around 25-30 a week, I would start to have physical problems.

I felt like I was doing all the correct things to stay healthy such as cross training, weights and stretching. Every year just before a big race I was training for I would get injured with a hamstring strain or tear. I would have to lay off running for awhile and do physical therapy. This not only took time away from my training but was mentally frustrating as well. Just when I thought all my hard work was paying off with my running times improving I'd get hurt.

I am currently training for the Columbus Marathon (26.2 miles) on October 16, 2005. On January 15, 2006 I will be running the Phoenix Arizona Marathon with Team In Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This would not be physically possible for me if my body wasn't in optimum condition. I feel that as long as I continue my treatments and regular massages there is no limit to what I can do. I just wish five years ago that someone would have told me what "good" chiropractic care can do for a person.
